Rotary Screw-On + Roll-On Cappers

Zalkin freestanding rotary screw-on + roll-on cappers use Zalkin’s proven capping head technology to apply Torque-On Pilfter-Proof closures (TOPP) aluminum closures to glass and plastic bottles at speeds up to 500 cpm (30,000 cph).

TOPP closures feature a plastic, screw-on fitment inside an aluminum closure. This style of cap provides twist-off and twist-on reclose convenience for the consumer as well as the security provided by a roll-on tamper evident or pilfer proof band.

Dual function screw-on + roll-on VS110 heads apply TOPP aluminum bottle closures in a single operation. They are a high-performance solution that combines Zalkin’s constant torque screw-on capping technology with our roll-on capping technology for aluminum closures.

Screw-on + roll-on capping heads are compatible with both rotary monobloc, rotary free standing and single-head cappers and like all Zalkin heads offer fast, tool-less changeover.

With rotary screw-on + roll-on technology, aluminum Torque-On Pilfer Proof closures are transported single-file via a chute and and fed individually onto the top of each bottle (after being released by a cap dispenser). The caps are then sealed to the container by rotating roll-on capping heads which seal the closures on the container using precise screw-on torque, controlled top pressure, side pressure and roll-on torque.
