Zalkin to Introduce FeedFlex and FlexEdge at PACK EXPO International 2026

STATHAM, GA., October 1, 2026 – Zalkin, a global leader in capping systems and cap handling technology, will showcase its new FeedFlex robotic cap feeding system and FlexEdge modular inline capper at Booth S-3741 during PACK EXPO International 2026, October 18–21 at McCormick Place in Chicago.
Designed for home and personal care applications with changing bottle and closure formats, FeedFlex and FlexEdge can operate together as a modular feeding and capping system or be configured independently based on production needs. FeedFlex uses robotic handling to orient and transfer screw caps, snap-on caps, push-in caps and pumps, while FlexEdge uses continuous-motion tracking to apply closures as bottles remain in motion, helping reduce splashing and product loss with low-viscosity products. FlexEdge is configurable with two to eight capping heads and speeds from 30 to 120 CPM.
At PACK EXPO, FeedFlex and FlexEdge will operate as part of an integrated personal care line with Pacific’s Intelli-Fil continuous motion filler and a P.E. Labellers (PackLab) SkyLine linear pressure-sensitive labeler. The live demonstration brings filling, closure feeding, capping and labeling together in one continuous-motion line, giving attendees a firsthand look at the technologies operating as an integrated system.
“Manufacturers are being asked to run more products and closure formats without adding complexity or downtime,” said Stephane Hacpille, VP and General Manager at Zalkin Americas. “FeedFlex and FlexEdge give them a flexible way to automate closure feeding and capping, reduce manual handling and keep products moving smoothly through the capping process.”
Additionally, Zalkin will feature a 24-head rotary capping turret integrated into the MBF FILLBLOCK, a high-speed filling and capping solution for 50 ml PET spirits bottles that applies aluminum ROPP closures at speeds up to 700 BPM. A dedicated Lifecycle Management display will highlight upgrades, calibration tools, cap-treatment solutions, preventative maintenance, conversions, parts and service support.
