Zalkin to Exhibit its Complete Suite of Innovative Capping Solutions at Drinktec 2022

August 30, 2022 – Zalkin, a global leader in capping machinery and cap handling systems, is exhibiting its complete suite of solutions for the beverage industry in hall C6, booth #538 at Drinktec. The Zalkin exhibit will include its new high-speed oriented cap infeed platform for beverage lines up to 120,000 bph, its capping turrets with ultra-clean design, a Zalkin-Fogg Filler monobloc for ROPP caps, and their full line of capping and cap handling solutions.
The Zalkin cap handling solution is an integrated system ideally suited to tethered caps. It is also designed to handle a wide range of innovative, versatile closure designs such as snap caps along with conventional CSD and mineral water closures, which require gentle handling to avoid plastic dust particles. Engineered for high-speed beverage lines, this new skid-mounted solution integrates the new generation Z-Cascade high speed compact orienter, the ZC-PRISM for cap inspection, and Z-Horizontal Buffer for cap accumulation. This integrated infeed solution can reach 120,000 caps per hour to suit the most demanding beverage bottling lines. It reduces the risk of creating plastic dust, damaging fragile caps and product waste, and improves line efficiency by minimizing downtime on the infeed.
Zalkin will also showcase its ultra-clean capping turrets for screw-on, roll-on and snap-on closures. They feature corrosion-resistant construction as well as splash guard and sealing protective design to eliminate product waste and to maintain the integrity of the product and the capper. Additionally, in collaboration with Fogg Filler, Zalkin will have on display an 8 head roll-on sealing turret fitted with quick release stainless steel sealing heads and a stainless-steel head slide for ROPP caps. This turret is also designed to handle screw-on and snap-on closures.
To support the everchanging packaging needs, Zalkin will highlight its comprehensive lifecycle management services at the show. Attendees will be able to demo the torque calibration and head changeover tools and will learn about a wide range of solutions that help optimize the performance and the life of the capper.
